NEIGHBORS PRAYING CITYWIDE FOR UNITY WHILE GROWING CLOSER TO CHRIST AND EACH OTHER
THE CALLING is a project sponsored by Pray the City.
Our Vision is to see prayer warriors arise and strategically cover every area of our city.
Our Hope is that these groups of two or three will gather in the LORD’s Name, that they will invite others to pray with them and that God will grow an army of faithful prayer partners across our city.
Our Goal is that God will be glorified as hearts and minds, eyes and ears, turn back to Him.
Pray the City is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization funded entirely by private contributions.
Our mission is to gather Christ followers corporately to pray scripture in unity and in an edifying manner over our city. Along with prayer, we will support our community by volunteering at local organizations. Pray the City seeks to glorify Jesus Christ in all areas.
Our Vision is to gain spiritual victory and improve our community as we pray in faith for God’s will to impact Amarillo. By praying corporately in one accord, we seek to become a model for other cities and be an example for unity for all communities.
May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had, so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 15:5-6
Who We Are:
We are a group of Christ-followers from many denominations. We meet monthly to pray for our city and its leaders, along with plugging into possible volunteer opportunities for community support.
What We Do:
Christians meeting monthly to corporately pray scripture in unity and in an edifying manner over our city. Pray the City will support our community by attending and volunteering in local events and organizations. We seek to glorify Jesus Christ in all areas.
